Description

Every year we're invited to compete against Thames Hare and Hounds (the world's oldest running club!) down on Wimbledon Common. The course is the same one used for the Blue's Varsity Match at the end of term. Featuring a water jump and plenty of mud and hills its one of the most famous cross-country courses in the world so make the most of the opportunity to run it! The mob match scoring system means everyone affects the scoring and getting a large-sized team out is essential! It will also be a key selection race for the Varsity teams so be sure to run if you have big ambitions in a few weeks!

The men's course is 7.5 miles while the women have the option of running either the 4 mile (women's Varsity course) or 7.5 mile course!

Anyway a bus will be provided from Queen's backs, leaving at 9.45am in time for a 2.30pm race and getting back for ~7pm. Thames always provide a really generous post-race tea which is almost worth the trip itself!
