Becca Cullen
#

From day one Becca has fully immersed herself in harey culture.. perhaps a little too much as she immersed herself in a rabbit hole on September training camp and unfortunately picked up the infamous harey ankle curse. However, what Becca lacks in ankle stability she more than makes up for in her commitment to the club, this past year she has been a regular at socials, the best supporter at races and even impressively made her light blue debut, minus a few ankle ligaments, at BUCS cross country. As a first year vet student Becca is here for the long run, despite spending most of her time with animals, she’s shown off some great people skills too, which she’s put to excellent use throughout the year. I’m certain this commitment to the club will translate well as she delves into the world of press and publicity, lets just say Cambridge runs followers are in for a year of top quality content. I personally cannot wait to see what Becca achieves both on and off the track as she makes her big return to running!

Beth Rogers
#

Before even arriving in Cambridge, Beth made her debut on the Big Harey Group chat, introducing herself, her love for Minecraft and passion for resistance bands. Since then, she has raced in the II’s Cross country varsity off the back of an injury AND raced in blues 800 and 1500m varsity. To back up this display of talent, she won the Bea Wood award for best incoming fresher which she will no doubt apply to her new role as Press + Publicity officer!

Beth’s commitment cannot be doubted- a Watt bike warrior, spending more time in the university gym than in college, and sandwiching Saturday sessions between her lectures. She’s back to running now and going into her first track season here, we are excited to see her back to racing!

Like many before her, Beth is studying bio Natsci (and will probably end up following the usually Harey Zoology pathway). When she isn’t in labs or doing Natsci things, Beth can be found running up mountains or in the Yorkshire moors. Maybe it is getting chased by grouse there that makes her such a speedy runner?! Her running stats are super impressive and, if you didn’t know already (which would be highly unlikely as she loves telling people) she’s run for England!

Having got to know this year’s committee (some more closely than others) Beth’s people skills and ability to get (it) on with other Harey’s will no doubt help with this year’s role. As well as this, a major claim to fame is that Phily Bowden engaged with Beth’s own Instagram, so there is no better person to run the P&P this year! Stay tuned for some great social media uploads and even more impressive running from Beth!
