Ewan Spencer #
5 years at CUHH without a role on the committee for Ewan come to a highly-anticipated end with a foray into the world of Sponsorship and Alumni relations. Our resident Everton fan has a strong ability in securing sponsorship, managing to convince his college to splash out for ‘pool soc’ and ‘golf soc’, despite their combined membership not exceeding 10. Having already graduated once Ewan is also perfectly suited to fostering relations with fellow alumni. Over his CUHH career Ewan has delivered fantastic performances at Blues Varsity XC and BUCS, and this year extended his commitment to the club in a long-term coaching / advisory role for one mob match participant. Boasting rapid times over distances ranging from 1500m (3:48) to 10k (30:21), Ewan is also a versatile athlete, including a record-breaking mile at Varsity athletics (don’t watch the first three laps). I have no doubt Ewan will achieve great things in this role and beyond; let’s hope there’s enough space on the vest to fit in all of the sponsors.
