Ladies' Captain

Lilian Lewis
#

Lilian Lewis is one of a kind. Few can claim to have beat an olympian, with Lillian being so satisfied with this performance that she effectively ended her running career afterwards. Lilllian will claim that she really wanted to be running all this time, but she will also claim that she wanted the position of women’s captain - most are unsure if either statement is factual. Lillllian has a number of qualities that will make her an outstanding Ladies’ captain. First and foremost, she has the minerals to lead training and races from the front with a breakout run at Blues cross in 2023 and just missing the top 50 in BUCS A the same year. Socially, she made up an iconic social sec team who have ascended to the mens and womens captaincy, leaving me with no doubt that the extensive fun associated with CUHH is going nowhere. Most importantly, she is a zoology student, carrying on a Ladies captain tradition predating the pandemic. The past year has included extensive rehab and numerous laps of John’s pitches in a long return from a frustrating injury. However, things are looking up for Lillllian, and at just the right time, Lilllllian’s leadership will take our ladies a long way on the common, in priory park, and wherever the night may take us!
