Daniel Fazackerly announced himself early, storming to victory as the fastest fresher at the Fresher 5K then went on to run some strong xc races while developing an weird obsession with a certain Henry Coop. Fast forward to Lent term, and he was tearing up the Cambridge half as the fastest male in the 17–19 category and because mileage builds character, not fatigue. Six days later, he was back flying round the podium mile.
Appointed Kit Secretary this year, Dan is now responsible for drip distribution. Expect timely orders, strong spreadsheet game, and the occasional VLOOKUP that even your DoS would find beautiful. Some say his Excel files are so well-formatted they could solve simultaneous equations on sight
Dan’s secondary school friends describe him as “bath time maths”. He’s also proudly lactose intolerant, bravely thriving in a world of post-run ice cream and cheesy pasta.
I, for one, am buzzing to see what he brings to the club in 2025/26 — both in kit and chaos.
